I have a pretty massive obsession with Bob and Joan's love. Which is weird, because he was kind of a douchelord to all the women he was with and he certainly wasn't very nice to Joan in particular. But she had way better things to do than concern herself with Bob Dylan anyway, ie: take part in a million protests and be an activist and get arrested for being awesome. Whereas the music was the most important thing to Bob, for Joan it was all about how she could use her music/fame to support and aid whatever cause.
All the songs here are written by Bob, with the exception of 'Diamonds and Rust,' which is on record as being about him. As for the other songs, they're mostly conjecture (mine or other people's). Bob is not quite so open about stuff like that as she is. But he likes his repeated queen imagery when it comes to Joan, I think.
Joan said that they have nothing in common except they're so alike. I always liked that. Even as they were moving in two different directions in their lives, there was still something in each of them that resonated with the other.
Enough rambling! I could ramble about them for ages, but I'm not going to bore you now. I can always bore you in the comments, though, if you like. Songs uploaded individually this time around. Narrowing down his lyrics for graphics is also the hardest task ever, in case anyone was wondering. Every line is gold!
