The very first thing I have to say is: caps for Angel suck. They are the devil. They are the 90s, grainy devil. They are so fucking irritating to work with. No one's done this shit in HD yet? If someone has tips or nice ones, please holla at me. Darla is seriously lucky she's my queen or I would ditch this so fast.
Also, I feel dead robbed about getting nothing besides old timey!Darla! How amazing must she have looked in the 40s and the 60s? The 80s! There's a quote from Julie Benz about how Darla is meant to be at the height of fashion for every era - during the Boxer Rebellion, she's got the big Gibson girl hair, etc. She would have always looked so good! I feel robbed! I demand a million Darla miniseries-es, Joss.
Off-topic, kind of, you know what's always bothered me? How do vampires put on makeup if they have no reflection?! Like...did Angel do Darla's eyeliner for her for a hundred years? What about when they broke up? What about before Angel existed? Also, I doubt Angel's eyeliner-ing abilities almost as much as his random talent for pencil sketches of ladies he knows.
Lastly, while you are enjoying how pretty Darla is, please also enjoy David Boreanaz in a series of horrific wigs (looking vaguely like a knockoff version of the prince the Beast turns into, amirite?).

Also, hilariously, as I was looking through caps I spotted bb!Christina Hendricks! She was playing Olde Timey Bar Wench #1! And, also also, you know who I loved on Angel who gets like zero attention? Detective Kate! She was soooo pretty and badass and angsty. I wish she and Angel had had a little something something, but oh well.
