1. The currently-airing TV show you're most excited to see when it comes on every week.
Er...nothing? I'm not even watching that much scripted tv lately - I think only The Mindy Project, Smash, and Modern Family? I genuinely cannot think of anything else, and I don't even like any of those shows. Smash I am purely hate-watching (and Megan Hilty's face watching). Modern Family is abysmal this year. The Mindy Project is totally hit or miss. I dislike the majority of the characters but I keep watching in the hopes that it'll figure itself out. Honestly Dance Moms and RuPaul's Drag Race are the fucking highlight of my week. That's some quality fucking television. When Game of Thrones and Mad Men return, though, I'll probably be the most excited about them. OH and I am burning in the most pure and glorious excitement for Netflix to give me more Arrested Development. BURNING.
2. The book you're most proud of yourself for finishing.
Hm. I've been kind of illiterate lately and I have yet to do one of those BIG book reads, you know? Gone with the Wind is my goal for this year, though I have serious doubts that I'll actually finish it.
3. Stewart or Colbert?
Damn. Stewart is and always has been my main man but he's been kind of annoying since the election. But still, I guess, Stewart.
4. A small fandom you're in that you wish was bigger.
Er...I kind of want to say all of my fandoms? I don't even really feel like I'm in a fandom right now. I feel more like a freelancer, lol. I guess I always wished GG fandom was bigger because the lack of diversity in fic always irritated me to no fucking end. What kind of fandom doesn't have a ton of good slash??? But if we're making GG wishes, then I wish it hadn't sucked so hard.
5. How do you pronounce this word: sherbet?
Pretty much how it looks? I'd probably give it nice over-long obnoxious syllables though. Shhhherrrrberrrrttt. Real derpy.
6. Your favorite recently-read fic.
came across it, lost it (dan/blair) gave me ALL THE FEELS. HE WAS NEVER GOING TO NOT LOVE HER. I also did a re-read of an old favorite, a helping hand, which is a Sirens fic (Stuart/Ashley). It is such a flawless mix of porn and feels and lols.
7. Do you own a fuzzy bathrobe? If yes, explain its virtues.
No ma'am. I am very firmly in favor of men's flannel robes. A couple of years ago I watched a lot of British queer boarding school movies and became extremely jealous of their jammies and flannel robes so I got myself one and it remains my favorite article of clothing ever. I will sleep in that thing. Love it.
8. What is the best flavor of Gatorade in your opinion?
I do not actually drink Gatorade and, to my memory, never have.
9. Would you prefer naan bread or a homemade tortilla?
Naan, fool.
10. If you could live in any ancient culture, what would it be? (Ignoring the fact that, as women, all our lives would've been really shitty. Ignoring that.)
Hmm, are we talking ancient ancient? Because I think my constitution is too delicate. People used to be hella bloodthirsty. The only other time period I have ever wanted to live in is the 60s, because music and fashion and protests and pointy bras and big hair. Those are all my favorite things. I could dig Victorian stuff for similar reasons. But if we ARE talking ancient ancient then I guess Ancient Egypt? I had a serious Cleopatra fixation as a child. Also, fashion.
