In general: I kind of prefer character-heavy things over plot-heavy things, I like witty dialogue, and I appreciate a good mix of heartbreak and comedy. I adore AUs. Sexytimes fic is great so long as it's in-character. I don't really appreciate violence or non-con but otherwise am fairly hard to squick. I love gen but I also love shippy things. Het, slash, and femslash are all totally fine by me. I am a fan of the OT3, and threesomes in fic. I love dialogue and little details. I like when fics are set somewhere other than the usual setting - something that jolts the characters out of themselves, you know? I love future fic and backstory fic and everything in between. I'm very easy to please, you'll find.
The Age of Innocence
I'd be happy with anything, but I'd love a totally wish-fulfillment glimpse into the life Newland and Ellen could've had together. Or even Newland deciding to go up to her apartment in Paris. Just them together, really.
THIS BOOK DESTROYED ME. Destroyed me. I would really love anything that gets Archer and Ellen together, any exploration of that. What if Newland had realized he loved her before it was too late? What if they had gone off together? What if he did meet her in Paris, all those years later? In a purely self-serving desire to fix my broken heart, I'd love for them to be happy with each other, finally.
Beverly Hills 90210
Dylan/Brandon/Brenda is kind of the incesty OT3 of life, amiright? Actually you may not think so, it doesn't float everyone's boat, so any variation of the three is excellent. Or gen! Love gen. I just like these three interacting.
Lolz, this show. Really do whatever you want? Dylan/Brenda in London? Dylan/Brandon being totally queer when the Walshes first moved from Minnesota (because they were totally queer then)? Brenda/Brandon incest? Dylan/Brandon/Brenda lolzy good times? It's all swell. Just no Kelly Taylor, kthxbye. Oh and any Donna Martin is amazing! Donna is my favorite of all the girls, tbh. Even if she pops up to say one line, I just appreciate her presence.
Mad Men
I really adore almost all of the characters on this show, so I feel I'll be pleased with almost anything? I have a soft spot for relationships the show hasn't explored as much.
With Mad Men, I have a soft spot for the women being kickass and the men just being kind of in awe of that. I'm cool with you using characters not listed in my signup - I chose my favorites, but I'm pretty affectionate towards almost the entire cast (minus you, Megan Draper). Lately I've been kind of into Don/Joan, for some weird reason, and I love anything that deals with their past pre-show. I also have always secretly shipped Peggy/Kenny (and...also kind of Peggy/Ginsberg?) and them having a little romance would be fun. I love Don and Peggy's beautiful platonic forever love. I know I'm citing a lot of ships here, but I do love gen for Mad Men and the sort of nonromantic serious emotional bonds that can form between characters.
Gossip Girl RPF
I feel kind of creepy requesting RPF? But...not creepy enough to not request it, obviously. Idk, I just like cute people being cute. So, if you decide to go this route, have fun with it? Any combination thereof, threesome or not, etc.
Um...this one is just kind of motivated by wanting to read about pretty people kissing? Is that shallow? That's shallow, but c'est la vie. I have unfortunate fondness for Pfunk and crew, so yeah. Prettiness. Kissing. Or whatever you'd like to do.
